Machined Bars for Aluminium Smelting Industry

KSL offers Low Electrical Resistivity (LER) steel,  developed specifically for primary aluminium industry to reduce level of electrical resistance within the steel during the electrolysis process of aluminium smelting.

LER Steel was developed after extensive tests at Indian Institute of Technology,  Mumbai with large numbers of steel grades,  as a product that offers considerable reduction in electrical resistance under elevated temperatures up to 800° Celsius, over other grades commonly used for this application.
